I’m so excited to announce the launch of Protect Your Energy, a new (Me)dia Mindfulness partnership between Transcending Trauma through Yoga and Pinterest centered on connecting the patterns around our digital consumption and their impact on our mental, emotional and physical health.
As our brains and bodies navigate an unprecedented volume of information every day, Protect Your Energy seeks to inspire Pinners of all ages to set personal boundaries that are intentional about honoring their own mental, emotional, social, sensory and physical health needs.

Understand how constant input affects your brain and body—and what to do about it.
You’ll learn to recognize your own stress signals, name your patterns of overwhelm, and practice grounding tools that support focus, emotional regulation, and sustainable engagement online and off.

Burnout shows up in the body first. This session explores embodied boundaries: listening to your body’s cues to guide how you communicate needs, relate to work and technology, and protect your energy.
You’ll leave with practices to spot burnout early, honor your limits, and create more supportive ways of working.

Not all rest is sleep, and not all sleep is restorative. You’ll unpack your relationship with rest, especially if “off” time feels like collapse instead of recovery.
Together, you’ll explore different kinds of rest—physical, mental, emotional, sensory, creative, social, spiritual, and professional—and identify which ones your nervous system needs most right now.

Self-care doesn’t have to be another item on your to‑do list. In this experiential session, you’ll build a personalized toolkit of micro practices—brief, trauma-informed somatic tools you can use before, during, and after digital engagement.
Think grounding between meetings, resets after hard content, and meaningful pauses that support long‑term resilience.
“The truth is, sometimes what our nervous systems need is less. You hold the wisdom, beauty, and power you need to find relief. And amid all of the noise, your connection to your body and nervous system is your most important teacher.”
