Zahabiyah (Zabie) Yamasaki, MEd, RYT, is an award-winning trauma-informed educator, yoga trainer, and sought-after consultant and keynote speaker, as well as the founder of Transcending Trauma through Yoga. She has trained thousands of healing professionals, yoga instructors, and mental health practitioners in her signature trauma-informed yoga certification both in person and online. Her work has been featured on CNN, NBC, and more. Her yoga as healing program for sexual assault survivors is implemented at over 50 universities including the University of California (UC) system, USC, Stanford, Yale, University of Notre Dame, and Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Sahar Martinez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering individual and couples therapy to support folks as they navigate relational issues, transitional phases of life, emotional pain, trauma, grief & loss. She specializes in perinatal mental health, honoring the intense shift that occurs for couples and individuals when they enter parenthood. Zahar approaches her work from a social justice, anti-racist lens, honoring and holding space for the lived experiences of the BIPOC community.
